breaking news: executive inn, evansville

Many of you may have heard earlier this week that the Executive Inn in Evansville had their liquor license expire due to back local and state taxes. I’ve received phone calls from clients of Executive Inn asking if we have heard any other information. I spoke with a representative from Executive just yesterday and she informed me that they would be able to honor any events that would be needing a liquor license by bringing in external bar services. Then just a few minutes ago:

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) – The Executive Inn hotel in downtown Evansville announced that it is now under the ownership of Mutual Hospitality Management Company of Chicago. The 470-room Executive Inn is Indiana’s third largest hotel and conference center.

If you have an event scheduled at Executive Inn, please do not panic. I’m sure the event coordinator will be able to answer your questions. I hope this will be a positive move for Executive Inn as we’ve had the pleasure of holding some beautiful weddings there (our last one was just three weeks ago). In fact, we’ll be on location tomorrow for several consults.

Again, please don’t think the worst, we know it’s hard to do considering the Executive Inn in Owensboro (they are owned by different companies). Be patient as I’m sure their staff will be fielding a lot of questions/telephone calls.
