I was just at Walter Reed yesterday! My retired Marine (aka ‘Grandpa’) was in for a pacemaker and I got to visit after his surgery. It was so disheartening to see kids my age or younger wheeling around the hallways and lobbies in chairs because they were recovering from losing a limb or having major surgeries to put their bodies back together. I’m so proud of you for posting this address and will definitely be sending a few holiday cards their way!
