…for some serious laughter.

You know one of my favorite DJ’s and emcee, Toby Hitchcock, has an abundance of talent. First of all, he’s a recording star, Pride of Lions which performs a lot in Europe (I did ask if he was Euro Trash, he said, “no”). He performs with Jim Peterik (think Rocky and Eye of the Tiger). You’ve seen him on TV as an actor for Romain Buick Subaru Suzuki dealership here in Evansville, Indiana. And he has rocked my weddings!

But it wasn’t until finding this little piece of video jewel that I figured out just how awesome he is.

Doing a spoof off of Emmy winner Justin Timberlake SNL skit ….. Toby and Ron show their talent in singing, bumping, grinding and rock star quality. Enough writing…just watch. (Toby is the one with the pimp earring and jeans).

Songbird DJ Service has opened a new office and studio at 1030 North Green Street in Henderson, Kentucky. Songbird’s office and studios on US 41 in Henderson were destroyed by fire on January 4th 2008. Though some equipment was lost to the flames, the staff at Songbird was able to continue full operations utilizing their mobile equipment.

Songbird DJ service has provided DJs, Sound and Light shows, DVD and CD Production and Customized Video and Slide Shows throughout Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois for over 16 years. Their age appropriate DJs entertain at special events including; weddings, class reunions, birthday parties, holiday parties and corporate events.

If you haven’t heard, Songbird Entertainment had a serious fire today in Henderson, KY. Well established in the local Evansville and Henderson area, their DJ’s serve many weddings, corporate and social parties. My heart goes out to them and hope they recover quickly. No stranger to fires; in August Integrity Productions burned to the ground with one of my DJ’s inside (we had a wedding the next day). Talk about scary!

EDITORIAL NOTE: My favorite stalker just emailed me (well I only have one). When typing this original message, apparently I FORGOT to detail that I would never charge anyone calling me to help find another DJ. I would NEVER take advantage of someone else’s misfortune. I assumed (my bad, my bad) that most normal people would read the tone of the message and understand that was my intent.

I have no idea what state Songbird is in but I’m sure they will do their very best to help all of their clients. I have no doubt they will honor their contracts and make it work. Realizing how busy they would be, I was simply offering to help. Larry is a very nice man and I hope that he and all of his employees can recover from this as quickly as possible.

This is an unbelievable…

The dedication it took to learn that whole routine. I cannot imagine teaching my father anything like that!!!

Who wants to party? (me! me! pick ME!)

How about this Friday, October 26th! You won’t want to miss Biz Boo located smack dab on Main Street in Evansville.

Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana there’s quite a line up of some serious, spooky fun at this upcoming party.

The Haunted Beer Garden and Spooky Food Tent should prove to be a great time, all for the low all-access pass of $15.

At 7pm, one of my favorite local bands, Big Slick, will be performing…you won’t want to miss them! Where’s the dance floor?  Right smack on Main Street…or wherever you are standing. It’s all good.

The times are: 4pm - 11pm. Isn’t that a great excuse to leave early from work? (tell your boss you’re coming down with something *cough*cough* — yeah, Halloween FEVER!)

Don’t forget to dress up!
