it’s almost 2010…

It has really been a very long year. Almost everyone I talk to has had it hard. Personally, it has been a roller coaster (many deaths in the family:  5 people this year have passed that I was close to and one of our dogs). The only thing that kept me going was the awesome clients and beautiful weddings we produced.

Considering all that and my weird sense of humor, take a look at these glorious Christmas Cards that are so very, very apropos:

2009-sucks ass

These letter press gems are from ABCD Design in New York and created by Amy Beth Cupp Dragoo (she may have too many names – but she has even more talent). I love her stationery because it so unique, quirky and just plain interesting….

…..just like this Christmas Card. You can buy these little beauties at etsy.

Now unless you actually got married or engaged this year, I say jump on it. You’ll definitely will make an impression on your friends!

Thank you Jessica from Penned and Pretty for bringing these cards to my attention! It made me smile today.

  5. Oh my goodness me ~ This blog post may have made 2009 salvageable! Thank you so much for blogging about my oh-so-sassy Holiday cards.

I swear, I was designing this year’s holiday card for me and Mr. D – I tried “Happy Holidays,” “May your season be bright,” “Season’s Greetings,” etc. Nothing seemed good. Just when I was going to close out the file, I typed “2009 sucked ass.” I laughed, and laughed and laughed some more. At least one thing to smile about this year! ; )

    Perfection.

I am delighted that you agree. You’re such a sweet-pea. Thanks for the post!
Here’s to a fabulous 2010. Seriously, it can only get better from here, right?
