songbird entertainment on fire
If you haven’t heard, Songbird Entertainment had a serious fire today in Henderson, KY. Well established in the local Evansville and Henderson area, their DJ’s serve many weddings, corporate and social parties. My heart goes out to them and hope they recover quickly. No stranger to fires; in August Integrity Productions burned to the ground with one of my DJ’s inside (we had a wedding the next day). Talk about scary!

EDITORIAL NOTE: My favorite stalker just emailed me (well I only have one). When typing this original message, apparently I FORGOT to detail that I would never charge anyone calling me to help find another DJ. I would NEVER take advantage of someone else’s misfortune. I assumed (my bad, my bad) that most normal people would read the tone of the message and understand that was my intent.
I have no idea what state Songbird is in but I’m sure they will do their very best to help all of their clients. I have no doubt they will honor their contracts and make it work. Realizing how busy they would be, I was simply offering to help. Larry is a very nice man and I hope that he and all of his employees can recover from this as quickly as possible.
What a sweetie you are! My heart goes out to all those affected by this fire and I will keep all of you in my prayers. I wish Phoenix wasn’t so far away!
Thank you so much for your concern for the gang at Songbird. I handle their web site and have been furiously posting notices that they are still in business. -They are just very mobile DJs at the moment.
No one who has booked an event with Songbird will suffer in any way due to this catastrophe. As a matter of fact, unless they heard the news, they might not even know there was a disaster.
Anyone who really wants to help out during this “adjustment” can most help by booking Songbird for their next event.
That is GREAT news Rosanna. I will definitely pass that information along to anyone who may ask; including all wedding vendors.
