do you have an appointment?

My wedding planner friend, Liene with Blue Orchid Designs recently talked about setting appointments with wedding vendors on her blog. She is so right. Vendors really like to have pre-set appointments.

Just imagine if you were us for a moment? All of your clients, plus potential clients, plus people who are just "shopping around" …. contacting you at any given time? It would be impossible to get any work done, plus give you the focus and concentrated effort you deserve.

Here’s another thought. When you are getting married in November, please don’t call vendors in June in a panic wanting to "wrap things up". Sure you should book vendors early. But we know through years of experience, that ideas will change probably multiple times before your wedding. We don’t waste each other’s time or your money. So it’s probably better to schedule final appointments closer to your wedding date.

great post and I love your point about november/june and wrapping things up – so true! also, that website you linked me to is held hostage by someone who is not me. I am trying to liberate it, but they will not let it go!
